Subhankar Chattopadhyay (Bengali: শুভঙ্কর চট্টোপাধ্যায়; born 1977) is an Indian director, scriptwriter, content creator, and producer. He is a non-fiction show creator in Tollywood.He is known for directing television shows, including Dadagiri Unlimited, Dance Bangla Dance, Mirakkel and others.
He directed the film Haanda & Bhonda (2010), starring Mithun Chakraborty. I’m obviously aware of the #MeToo allegations against Ranjon Ghoshal. I have a lot of respect for his sons — for the stand they have taken. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them to deal with this.But, more power to the brave women who have come out with their harrowing experiences. What I want to talk about is Ghoshal’s involvement with Moheener Ghoraguli (MG). He was a founder member and was involved in designing the covers of the EPs and made lyrical contributions to the band. The group would always write songs collectively under the name ‘Moheener Ghoraguli’. Ghoshal was not a musician per se; he used to compere the shows.
The band that he was part of was disbanded in the early ’80s. My father, Gautam Chattopadhyay, worked on the Moheener Ghoraguli Sampadito Bangla gaan er album in the ’90s with new artistes and musicians.
